Alpha Step is a child centered educare situated in Walmer where diversity is embraced and every child enjoys learning and play in a safe and nurturing environment.

We strive to meet all the pre-school child's developmental needs; physical, social, emotional and cognitive. (Cognitive skills are thinking skills – mental tools that enable us to learn and operate effectively, with them we are able to learn and do most of what life demands of us).

English Medium

Educational programme for 2 to 6 year olds

Grade 0000 / Grade 000 / Grade 00 / Grade R (CAPS compliant curriculum)

Experienced and qualified teachers

After school care offered up to Grade 3

Media Centre (Computer based training for pre-schoolers + available to aftercare children for project and research work)

School Closes: 17h30

Half Day children to be collected between 12h45 and 13h00.
The actual school days starts promptly at 08h00. Please make sure your children are at school on time to start at 08h00.
